Sci-Fi for homeowners

A Burlingame homeowner had a back door from her bathrroom — quite the quick escape to the outdoors and access to the spa. The problem was that lovely backdoor also allowed a view into her shower. Not optimal!

Mike Pizzolono to the rescue with Smart Glass! When the homeowner needs privacy, it is a flip of a swiitch. Smart Glass is a type of glass that can change its optical properties, becoming opaque or clear, in response to electrical or thermal signals.  This can be used to conveniently provide privacy or visibilty to a room.
